It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Diane on February 6th, 2022, at the age of 61. After an admirable battle against brain cancer, Diane passed peacefully with family by her side. Loving daughter of Jean and the late Donald Martin. Best sister to Karen (Joe) Fleming. Friend and former spouse to Dave Whiffing. Adored mother of Jamie (Mike) Whiffing, Lindsay (Ryan) Whiffing and Alex Whiffing. Proud grandma (gg) to Hudson and Brooklyn, and fur-mom to her dog Mischa and her faithful cat Kevin. Will be missed by all of her friends and John Deere Financial family. Diane was known for her fantastic cooking, yet never following a recipe. She grew an exorbitant amount of tomatoes in her garden, and was passionate about redesigning her home with help from the experts on HGTV. One thing cannot be denied, Diane loved her family. She was always eager and excited to spend as much time as possible with her grandkids, whether teaching her secret to making the perfect chicken wings or playing endlessly outside in the sun. In addition to her generous heart, Diane’s amazing sense of humour was one of her best attributes. She could always be counted on for a funny remark or an offbeat joke. A celebration to honour Diane’s life will be held at a later date. You are missed beyond measure and we are all so grateful for our time with you. Cheers to you!
