To know her was to love her. Mom lived a beautiful life beginning in Lennoxville, Quebec. She was exposed to music at a young age and her name became synonymous with a piano. Her favourite spot was sitting in front of a keyboard by herself or surrounded by people singing along with her. As children, we often woke to a piano as she waited for the rest of us to wake. She was the best mother anyone could hope for, loving, gentle, guiding quietly, always, always supportive. Family meant everything to her and she supported all of us in our successes and failures. She judged no one and accepted everyones' flaws. She was loved by so many, and she will never be forgotten. Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, William E., survived by her three children Randy (Lynne), Bryan (Leah), and Wendy (Dick). She adored her eight grandchildren Michael, Kim (Randy), David, Jennifer, Peter (Bryan), Jeff, Adam, and Megan (Wendy). She had nine great-grandchildren Xavier, Emeline, Jordyn, Peyton, Caiden, Sadie, Paisley, Taylor and Ellis. Donations will be accepted in memory of Freda to The Alzheimer’s Society, and to Cawthra Gardens (Residents Council). Freda’s Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 12 noon at St Stephen’s on-the-Hill United Church, 998 Indian Rd., Mississauga, Ontario L5H 1R5. There will be a light lunch after the service. https://alz.to/give/ https://chartwell.com/en/retirement-residences/cawthra-gardens-long-term-care-residence/overview
