Marian Przyk
August 27, 1921 - March 10, 2016
On March 10th, 2016 Marian Przyk, husband, father, uncle and grandfather, peacefully passed away at the age of 94 years with his family by his side. Marian was born in the Ukraine and spent a number of years working in a coal mine in Germany and Belgium until he immigrated to Canada 63 years ago. He lived and worked in St. Catharines where he retired from General Motors after 32 years. A hard and dedicated worker who gave a hand whenever he was called upon. He loved travel, the outdoors, his vegetable garden and spending time with his grandchildren who he is better known as Papa. He lived his final 2 years at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home in Dundas, Ontario before his short illness. Marian is survived by his wife Anna (nee Puricz) of 23 years, children & many grandchildren. He will also be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. A special thank you to all of the nurses and doctors at St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Emergency, CCU & CTU West for their loving care and support. A visitation and prayer service will be held at Circle of Life, 100 King Street East, Dundas on Saturday, March 19th at 11am. Memorial donations in memory of Marian may be made to St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation, 224 James Street South, Hamilton.
