Mother Theresa said ‘God doesn’t require you to succeed but He does require that you try.’ I have tried my best throughout my life but did not always succeed. I did learn with each new challenge and tried to use that learning the next time. I have been blessed to have been loved by wonderful parents who supported me and afforded me many opportunities while they did without. They understood what the word family meant when having children with all that that entailed. My brother and I were blessed. I have no regrets in life. I have been blessed to have lived a life filled with love, family, friendship and adventure. Each day filled with endless possibilities. My family…… there are no words. You have come when I have asked and loved and supported me any way you could. There is a life time of love and laughter which I take with me. I hold each of you close in my heart. Thank you is not enough. I can’t thank you enough my beloved tribe (you know who you are – too many to name but especially Laurie, Carleen, Karen, Judy, and Deb). You have supported me and kept me going with your prayers, love, words of encouragement, hot meals, gardening and making sure that my Sweet Pea is loved and looked after while I was unable. Thank you to my health support team without whom this journey could not have gone on as long as it has – especially to Dr. E. McWhirter, Dr. Judy Hindson, VON nurses Jenny and Almon, Bob Tees, LHIN Case Manager Pauline, Home Sweet Home Caregivers, and Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice Caregivers. I am devasted to be leaving all of you with so many new adventures left unfulfilled and memories yet to be made and shared. I hope you will think of me as you are making your memories and know that I am right beside you sharing in them.
